Will Gowland
B.Arch(Hons), AA Dipl, ARB

Based in London, Will is an architect, designer & educator. Having graduated from the Architectural Association on the prestigious ‘Baylight’ Scholarship, Will was named as AJ’s “Stand Out Student” of the 2012 summer exhibition. He has since gone on to co-found the architecture practice Built Works with its sister company Animated Works, specialising in architectural animation & documention; as well as the hotel and leisure company Architects Holiday.

︎BUILT WORKS
Will is the Director and co-founder of Built Works. An award winning architecture and design practice based in London and the Lake District. Working across multiple scales and sectors including the; leisure, cultural, office & residential markets.

︎ANIMATED WORKS
Will is the Director and co-founder of Animated Works. A creative outlet for temporay and time based installation, film and animation work. Our work explores the intersection between art and architecture with a focus on emerging technologies.

︎ARCHITECTS HOLIDAY
Will is the Director and co-founder of Architects Holiday. An alternative hotel solution for a world demanding change, where architcture is combined with sustainability and escapism to create unique products and experiences tailored for creatives.

︎TEACHING - AA DESIGN + MAKE
Will is a studio tutor on the AA’s Design + Make course in Hooke Park.
